Dedicated to promoting food safety and preventing foodborne illness, STOP is a nonprofit group. Our goal is to increase public knowledge of the dangers of foodborne illness while promoting stricter food safety laws and policies.

Being concerned about food safety and the value of understanding where our food comes from has always been a personal passion of mine. I’ve had the chance to collaborate with people who share my passion and dedication for making our food supply safer for everyone as a member of STOP.

We collaborate with other organizations, such as farmers, chefs, food processors, and consumers, to promote food safety and prevent illness, which is one of the aspects of STOP that I enjoy. We are dedicated to educating and empowering people to make informed decisions about the food they consume because we think that everyone has a part to play in maintaining the safety of our food supply.

At STOP, we are dedicated to fighting for stricter municipal, state, and federal laws and policies governing food safety. We fight to ensure that our elected officials give food safety a high priority as a matter of public health because we think that everyone has the right to access to healthy and safe food.
